this is what happens when you remember a parody or a satire of something better then the original. i hear a lot of weird al version before i heard the originals also

  2. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #2

my version is a little different in that I still remember the original, even if I often LIKE the parody better. Weird Al is a true musician, artist, satirist and comedian. He's also a hell of a nice (and humble) guy.

Rankings of accents, from best to worst:
    LoTR characters
    News/Talkie voice
    Bob/Eli's Grandma
    Peter O'Toole

    John F. Kennedy

Please, for the love of all that is holy, please don't do JFK again.

  4. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #4

But it wasn't Kennedy OUR PRESIDENT. It was JFK from "Clone High." You have to take these things in context. I think for the next Podcast Im going to ask that people submit questions and the voice you would like them answered in.

Oh please please please do that. I'm going on record now: more Mexican Star Wars – I was crying, laughing so hard.

Guys. Shawn and Jonathan here from Black Devil Doll… Thanks for continuing to talk about our film, being an "indie" we need all the help we can get. I really do wish your controversy theory was true, it would be great for publicity, but unfortunately we are just way behind in post production so we simply don't have the finished print ready. But, the new trailer and the clip we are showing is guaranteed to be the best thing at the show and will probably get us tossed in jail. Don't miss it. See you there, we can do an interview if you like and you meet the cast/crew… We will have posters and t-shirts for sale as well. -thanks

Ask not what your Student Body President can do for you, ask what you can do for your Student Body President's body!

You should totally detail your workout schedule for the week.

I saw those Obama/Hillary sites a while ago, and I've always wondered why the Obama one doesn't have a submission page. Anyone know how to submit? I'm sure someone has a good positive mention, or "pos-men" for Obama.

Also, those hopping "zombies" are chinese vampires. They are blind, but can sense your breathing, so holding your breath stops them from finding you. Urine somehow hurts them. Putting scrolls on their foreheads with a spell on it stops them too, as well as paintbrushes, IIRC.

Remember in Super Mario Land? Those hopping enemies? Those were like that.

No, I'm not weird and into this stuff. I'm Chinese.

  14. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #14

    DUDE!!
it all makes sense now because after watching RoboVampire we saw another shitty movie the following weekend. during this movie the same dudes showed up hoping around. all of us thought it much be an Eastern thing or something

    February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #15

So yeah, they can be considered "vampires". That's not bullshit. And maybe cause their arms are outstretched, maybe they are "robots" or robot-like.

    Still, no vampires in headlocks.

  16. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #16

I dont think the same people do both sites. There are a few others too.

I never got how wearing a t-shirt of the band to the concert is lame. I understand it's redundant, but it isn't completely awful to do.

Also some of the Hillary ones aren't that bad. Some of them are even good things.

  18. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #18

I dont think its bad, per se. But it is generally considered the behavior of concert posers. Worse to me are the kids that obviously spent HOURS getting their concert outfit JUST RIGHT, when I just show up in the clothes I was already wearing that day. (I was already wearing an elaborate rock and roll outfit).

Re: the lack of a 2 Live Crew parody – There was a comedy-rap duo in the early 90's called 2 Live Jews (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2_Live_Jews) who released a few albums, most 'famous' of which was "As Kosher As They Wanna Be". You get your "Me So Horny" parody in the form of "Oy It's So Humid". and a "Shake your Booty"/"Shake Your Tuchas" one thrown in for good measure.

And yes, I own the cassette.

  20. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #20

Im actually quite familiar with 2LJ. "Oy it's so Humid" was bumping the system for at least a week.

  21. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #21

Evidently the "timed out" message was a big fat liar.

  22. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #22

Fixed. And, yes, its a dirty lying ass.

  23. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #23

This is all terrifying and wonderful news. Mostly terrifying.

I must have a Mexican wedding piñata. That's the best idea ever. And Weird Al rules. The first concert I ever saw was a Weird Al show. Freakin' awesome. Have you seen the Weird Al game??! I just stumbled across this: http://VirusAlert3d.com

  25. February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 | #25

You cant buy a mexican wedding piñata unless you have the code to their secret supply website. Maybe Eli can order it for you.
