I'm in Milwaukee, and I can state with certainty that we have hear of and often use central air. Temperatures here swing from 100 in the summer to about 20-30 below in the winter.

well i guess i meant to say that in the city. when passing by the apartments on the train it looked like a lot of wall units. so much using tight space from what i could tell
