I'm going to write my comments as I listen and then post them all at once.
      * Are they snakes who became pirates or are they pirates that turned themselves into snakes?
      * Here's an article about the making of gourd hats. It says they're of Filipino origin. I don't remember if Denise is Filipino or not. http://biagkensiak.wordpress.com/2007/02/05/the-t...
      * J. Michael Straczynski was involved with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, She-Ra: Princess of Power, Spiral Zone (under an assumed name), Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, and The Real Ghost Busters.
      * Re: Wayne's World: Party on Joel.
      * My Soc. Security number ends in 24, so I haven't gotten my stimulus check yet.
      http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=1816...
      * I haven't watched any of the Whedon shows or BSG either. My friend got me Firefly on DVD for my birthday. I've watched the first two episodes so far.
      * All the Colbert stuff is online.
      http://www.comedycentral.com/colbertreport/videos...is the clip in question.
      * Blaze is a woman, who first appeared in "Streets of Rage".
      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streets_of_Rage
      * I didn't see your question asking for a Weezer song. I'll offer one in the next male sack if you'll play a song next time.
      * Triple H has been rumored for a He-Man movie forever. Thor is probably just an extension of that. It'll never happen. There are easily 10 wrestlers more charismatic than him. They should make some sort of movie for the Big Show to star in. He's a very funny guy, so a comedy might be good.

"I don't remember if Denise is Filipino or not."

This sums up my entire existence within the HE universe.

Alright, you'll have to be the resident expert on Asian culture, no matter the nationality.
"Denise, as a Chinese person, what are your thoughts on the Olympics in Beijing?"
"Denise, they just had Hmong New Year. Can you explain the celebrations?" (The Hmong are an Asian ethnicity that has significant numbers in California, Michigan, and Wisconsin. I am in one of those areas. If you aren't, you've probably never heard of them.)
"Denise, I'm going to go to a Thai restaurant. What of your native dishes would you recommend?"

    18. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #18

OK, I came here to bitch you the fuck out for skipping Little Things, but then you did the slide-intro to Everything Zen vocally and I forgave you before I could even login to ID. I STILL do that shit when I'm driving!

    19. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #19

Ha ha, that didn't sound like Zero at all.

    20. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #20

In terms of DnD being evil, here's a very…uh…enlightening comics strip.

Ummm,…. that's EXACTLY what happens every time someone plays D&D. Are you new?

    22. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #22

Is that anything like Pumps to the Bumps?

I guess I learned to play wrong when I learned in the Boy Scouts. (It was that fact alone that pwnd my mom out of thinking it was Satan's Game. Same deal with Magic: the Gathering.)

I quite enjoyed the 90's Alt-Rock Challenge. Also thanks for the tips on shitty movies. I already planed on getting Ricky-Oh from when you guys brought it up before but I'll have to seek out the others.

    27. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #27

I remembered that I thought it was about a mother that dies during child birth, but now I know how wrong I am.

    28. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #28

You will not be/will be super disappointed!

    29. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #29

Here that Denise?! Your adorable! I told you, you have fans!

    30. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #30

Sure, but my comic process is usually 8 hours. I dont know of any software that will record for 8 hours straight without A) filling up my hard drive or B) slow down photoshop. Any suggestions?

    31. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #31

i know it's a little late but thank you thank you thank you for the birthday shout out from HE and especially for the awesomeness that is Sexy German Josh!!! the Sexy German greeting made my birthday (and even possibly my life) complete. AND el scorcho was fantastic — definitely my fave from their best album!

      to add, other famous filipinos:
Lea Salonga (broadway of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, singing voice of Jasmine from Aladdin and of Mulan)
Jasmine Trias (got pretty far in one of the American Idol seasons)
Allan Pineda (one of the Black Eyed Peas — not the lead singer, not the dude with the long hair, and not Fergie… so that other one)

i think Lou Diamond Phillips and the host of Iron Chef America (the one who screams out the secret ingredient) are part filipinos too.

those are better than Rob Schneider, right?

    34. February 5th, 2009 at 11:36 | #34

That's a pretty….. well, it's definitely a list. Happy Birthday and hope to see you at the party.
