A cold night, a empty highway, milestone 140 passes by and dark red eyes flash up far ahead in the darkness, like a predator waiting for you, but they're only reflected of a 'broken' car from your headlights. You pull over and see a shady guy leaned next to the car. You get out and he eyes you even more careful. 'Feo' he whispers and you show him 3 fingers, the secret sign, he nods, walks by, looks into your car, opens the trunk, that you had left unlocked..nothing. He eyes the road north&south. A call from his cell, but it just rings, nobody picks up. He points to the hood of your car in a commanding fashion. But you already know the drill, you understand and lean against it and wait while his car comes back to life and disappears..

Time passes by..5 minutes, 10 or an hour? You don't know, time goes slow when you're alone in the desert, at night without any lights, because those are the rules and you know that these guys don't joke around.

A shabby old van rumbles down the road and stops right next to you. The side door opens, you see a few boxes covered in dust&dirt, a guy next to the door, another one somewhere in the back, both wear bandanas to conceal their faces and the one in the back has his hands awfully close to something that looks like a rifle..or a baseball bat, to dark, bad idea to find out. Your heart pounds hard as you slowly place a bundle of dollars on a box. The one in the front picks it up and counts it professionally by flipping through it close to his ear and then throws the bundle to the guy in the back. Two swift kicks and two heavy boxes fall into the soft sand, whirling up a cloud of dust. Screeching tires, a closing door and the shabby van is gone, faster than you would've expected.

There they are, two boxes of Tres Feo, 48 bottles, dirty and without labels, padded by straw. Black Gold that's illegal in 49 states and even just trying to buy it whether its on the road or online could put you in jail for years, but you know it's worth the risk and your eyes have this eerie shine, that nobody will ever see, while you put them into the trunk and drive away in silence, the desert doesn't hear, it doesn't know, won't tell..Tres Feo..

Thanks for recommending the Too Fat for 40 movie/evening. There's nothing quite like Kevin Smith going off a Kevin Smith tangent which always turn into hilarious, very elaborate stories.

The stupid scripted "reality" parts also have a tendency to crap up Mythbusters, which is probably one of my favorite shows EVER. If they drop those retardedly scripted "Hey Jamie. What's up with the stuff?!" parts, it would be a perfect show.

A couple things, I'm surprised no ones clipped "Chocolate Giddy-up!". One of the things you missed that killed Zach and Miri was that Miramax stupidly opened the movie on Halloween, when everyone is busy either trick-or-treating, at a party, or stuck at home handing out candy. I tapped out on American Chopper after Vinnie left. The show had started to change and like you said It got to be more about fighting than building bikes. From what you said the new series sounds good, I'll check it out.
