Theoretical: Cast the Team Fortress 2 movie, for Joel, who I'm guessing hasn't played it, this is what they look like…

MPAA tells teacher to record screen with camera instead of ripping CD. They demostrate it with VLC, a video player that has De-CSS[1] compiled in.

Have any of you been watching the Marvel or DC animated movies? They started out really bad, but for the past year they've been pretty great with and Superman Doomsday being pretty good and the New Frontier (had NPH) was just about perfect. Hulk VS Wolverine actually let Logan cut people with his claws, blood and all. Even Wonder Woman had Captain Hammer/Tightpants (Hammerpants, per XKCD)

It seems like they've been making these direct to DVD movies for a more hardcore, adult comic fan audience. How cool is that?

What are the top 3 things you couldn't live without?

    My guess for Eli:
    1. El Deloreo
    2. La Bamba soundtrack
    3. Sombrero

Gentlemen, (and young miss short-round) Which country or group of countries do you think will be the first to officially colonize another planet/space? I don't mean another habitable planet, a biodome on mars or the moon is also acceptable.

Also, when do you think they/we will? 30 years from now? 50? 100?

P.s., who else really, desperately hopes that they will live long enough to be/for there to be space pirates ripping off inter-stellar supply ships?

P.s.s., Josh, inter-stellar butt pirates are also acceptable.

After listening to last weeks podcast and reading Monday's comic I think it's clear that the work of Allen Tudyk is well appreciated within the HE community. What other roles do you think he should/could have been cast in to improve the quality of the show/movie? For example, do you think Dr. Horrible would have been improved if Tudyk was cast as the Doc instead of NPH?

    Hey Guys,

Occasional reader, wanted to inform you guys about this for a while. As an Australian it is my duty to inform you that the next Mad Max movie's going to be a CG Anime feature film directed by George Miller:

    http://www.madman.com.au/actions/news.do?method=v…

What do you guys think? Will it be the first ever Australian dubbed anime movie? Will it be a mistake? Who knows, but Mad Max is a cult-cha-ral institution down under mate. It's in the bloody National Screen and Sound Archive for crying out loud… what's your say?
